London’s Aldwych Theatre is the setting for Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall's musical Tina - The Tina Turner Musical. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, this new production will star Tony Award-nominated actress Adrienne Warren in her West End debut.

Born Anna-Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, Tina Turner rose from humble beginnings to transform herself into an international recording artist, winning 12 Grammy Awards over her career and selling more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history.

A heady celebration of triumph over adversity, this inspiring musical charts her journey from childhood living with her grandmother through to her tumultuous relationship with her abusive husband Ike, the legacy of racism and her transition to rock goddess in her 40s.
