Based on the true story which inspired the hit 2003 film Calendar Girls, The Girls is the amazing and inspiring tale of a group of ordinary Yorkshire women who achieved something extraordinary.
This heartwarming new musical comedy is a collaboration between childhood friends Gary Barlow and Tim Firth and charts the true tale of a group of Rylestone ladies who decide to pose naked for a Women's Institute calendar to raise funds to buy a sofa for their local hospital following the death of one of their husbands from leukaemia in 1998.
The nude calendar quickly became an international hit raising over four million pounds for leukaemia and lymphoma research.
