Following a sell out national tour, Sheffield Theatres' acclaimed production of The Full Monty transfers to London's West End for a strictly limited sixteen week season from February 2014. Original cast members Kenny Doughty, Craig Gazey, Simon Rouse, Keiran O’Brien, Roger Morlidge and Sidney Cole will reprise their roles.
In 1997, a British film about the decline of the steel industry and six unemployed men with nothing to lose unexpectedly took the world by storm. Adapted into a stage play by the original Oscar winning screenwriter Simon Beaufoy, we go back to Nineties Sheffield where it all started to rediscover the men, the women, the heartache and the hilarity of a city on the dole.
Based on the Fox Searchlight Pictures movie, the stage version will also feature the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.
