Monty Python's Spamalot, Eric Idle and John Du Prez's irreverent parody of Arthurian Lore, has kept audiences all around the world roaring with laughter since its original Broadway premiere in 2005 when it won the Tony Award for Best Musical.
Loosely based on the cult 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot retells the legendary medieval tale of King Arthur as he and his servant Patsy attempt to recruit Knights of the Round Table in Camelot. Featuring a bevy of beautiful show girls and witch burnings (cancelled for health and safety reasons) not to mention cows, a few shrubberies, Trojan rabbits and lewd French people. The show also includes the hilarious songs He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail and of course the hugely popular Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
