Fresh from a sold-out run in Manchester, Mrs Doubtfire the Musical transfers to the West End to delight audiences at the Shaftesbury Theatre. Based on the beloved 1993 film starring Robin Williams, this hilarious homage is directed by Tony winner Jerry Zaks with a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell and original music and lyrics by Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick.
After losing custody of his three children during a bitter divorce, irresponsible out-of-work actor Daniel wilfully violates a restraining order and disguises himself as an elderly Scottish nanny in a desperate attempt to spend as much time as possible with his kids. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
