Directed by multi-award winning Rupert Goold and based on the hit 2010 British film, Made in Dagenham is a rousing new musical comedy starring Gemma Arterton and Adrian der Gregorian.

It's 1968 in Essex, and like millions of other working women, each morning Rita O’Grady is just trying to get her husband out of bed, get the kids off to school and get to work on time. The Ford car plant in Dagenham is one of the largest private employers in Britain, employing thousands of male workers and 187 female machinists who assemble car seat upholstery in lousy working conditions. When it’s announced that the girls in the stitching room will have their pay grade dropped to unskilled, shop steward Rita joins with union rep Albert Passingham to get a better deal for the underpaid women. But she soon discovers the situation is worse than she first thought and drawing on a strength she never knew she had, Rita leads her friends in a battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the Union supposed to protect them. As the girls’ inspiring journey gets bigger than anyone could have imagined, a grinding labour and political struggle follows that will ultimately advance the cause of women's rights around the world. As the pressure becomes too much for some, can Rita keep up the fight and the happy home she’s worked so hard for?
