Twelve years after the box office success of Bend It Like Beckham starring Parminder Nagra and Keira Knightley, Gurinder Chadha brings a musical version of the hit British comedy to the West End. Natalie Dew will lead the cast which includes Lauren Samuels, Tony Jayawardena, Preeya Kalidas, Ronni Ancona and Jamie Campbell Bower making his West End debut.

Eighteen year old Jesminder 'Jess' Bhamra needs extra time. She is facing the most important decision of her life; live up to family expectations of university, career and marriage, or defy her orthodox Sikh parents, chase her dream and follow in the footsteps of her hero David Beckham. When the talented teenage footballer is scouted by local women's team The Hounslow Harriers, a world of opportunities opens up before her. But as the Hounslow Harriers make their way towards the top of the league, the day of her elder sister's traditional Indian wedding approaches and Jess needs to pick sides.

From the first pass in the park to the final free-kick, Bend It Like Beckham is a feel good musical comedy featuring a new score with a Bhangra kick. This production is a funny and uplifting adaptation of the 2002 film about refusing to watch from the sidelines, bending the rules and scoring that deciding goal.
