Marc Bruni's award-winning Broadway production of Beautiful – The Carole King Musical transfers to London’s West End.

Carole King, the chart-topping music legend, was an ordinary girl with an extraordinary talent. To date, more than 400 of her compositions have been recorded by over 1,000 artists, resulting in 100 hit singles.

This uplifting musical biography follows her rise from schoolgirl to superstar; a talented teenager living in Brooklyn, she breaks into the music business as a songwriter aged just seventeen. Her subsequent marriage to lyricist Gerry Goffin spawns dozens of chart hits for some of the biggest artists of the time including the Drifters, the Shirelles, Aretha Franklin and the Monkees.

But her greatest challenge was to finally step into the spotlight and in 1971, newly divorced Carol released Tapestry, a hugely acclaimed album that took her to the pinnacle of success, speaking personally to her contemporaries and becoming the voice for a generation of women.

Featuring some of King's most well known songs including Will You Love Me Tomorrow?, You’ve Got A Friend, So Far Away, I Feel the Earth Move, Pleasant Valley Sunday, You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman and It Might As Well Rain Until September, this show is a must-see.
