Following a hit run at The London Palladium and a UK tour, Andrew Lloyd Webber's acclaimed production of The Wizard of Oz returns to the West End for a strictly limited 4 week season at the Gillian Lynne Theatre this August. Starring JLS singer Aston Merrygold as The Tin Man, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner and Dancing On Ice star The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch of the West, this spectacular production will be truly magical for all the family.
Based on the enchanting 1939 MGM screenplay, this production contains all the favourite characters and iconic moments. Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto as they journey through the magical land of Oz and follow the yellow brick road to meet the Wizard and obtain their heart's desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for all the family.
