Show Details
Graham Hubbard's colourful stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks’ award-winning picture book What The Ladybird Heard arrives in the West End for a limited season at the Lyric Theatre this Summer.

The witty farmyard adventure tells the tale of two crafty thieves, Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len, who have devised a dastardly plan to break into the farm using a key and map and steal the farmer’s prize cow. But they reckon without the intervention of the tiniest, quietest creature of all, the ladybird who has a cunning plan of her own involving all the farm's inhabitants!

Join the woolly sheep, the hairy hog, the fat red hen and the dainty dog in this sparkling show featuring live instrumental music and original songs from Jon Fiber and Andy Shaw. With puppetry, plenty of audience participation and lots of laughs, this production is the perfect family treat and the ideal introduction to theatre for preschool and primary school children aged three plus.
