Show Details
Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed revival of Miss Saigon made its highly anticipated return to the West End in May 2014. Since its sensational record-breaking run at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane 25 years ago, Boublil and Schönberg's legendary production has played in 300 cities in 15 different languages, winning awards around the world.

Based on Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, this tragic love story charts the burgeoning romance between a young Vietnamese girl and an American GI. Set in 1975 during the final days of the American occupation, Kim a seventeen year old orphan begins working at a sleazy Vietnamese club where she meets and falls in love with Chris, a soldier. But as Saigon falls, their lives are torn apart and their struggles to find each other over the ensuing years end in tragedy for her and a fighting chance for the child he never knew he had.
